Rorbu
Rustic and close to nature, our traditional rorbus are nestled right by the water – where the tides set the rhythm and seabirds mark the sky. Each cabin offers simple comfort, wooden interiors, and a deep sense of stillness. A place to stay close to the sea, and even closer to the essence of Lofoten.
Sleep where fishermen once dreamed
Our rorbu are perfect for those seeking authenticity, quiet, and a direct connection to the sea. Built for the seasonal rhythms of fishing life, these cabins now welcome travelers looking for simplicity and soul. Stay right by the water – where history lingers in the timber, and the view hasn’t changed in generations.

Rorbu
This is a classic Lofoten rorbu – once used by fishermen, now lovingly restored for guests. With timber walls, sea views and the sound of waves nearby, the cabin offers simple comfort and a deep sense of place. Stay close to nature, and even closer to history.
Bathroom
The rorbu includes a private bathroom with shower inside the cabin. The toilet (WC) is located in a separate building shared with the main house. Clean, warm, and just what you need after a day outdoors.
Kitchen
The cabin has a private kitchen with fridge, stove, and cooking utensils – so you can prepare your own meals in peace and quiet.
Café
Our café is located in the guesthouse nearby, serving cakes, coffee, and light meals during the summer season. A cozy place to warm up and enjoy the view.
Parking
Private parking is available just a few steps from the cabin. Easy to reach, even with bags or gear.
Washing Machine
If you’re staying for several nights, we’re happy to offer access to laundry facilities. Just ask – we’ll help you get set up.
Let the sea slow you down
Feel the warmth in simple things – creaking floors, quiet mornings, and windows that open to salt air and shifting tides.
This is not just a stay. It’s a pause. A piece of Lofoten’s story – and maybe a piece of your own.
